What Questions Can I Ask My Pet?

by animal communicator Sarah Messina

People often ask me what questions they should ask their pet in an animal communication consult. There's really no limit to what can be asked, and while some animals like to discuss everyday matters, others like to be consulted on important decisions involving their guardians. As an animal communicator I get requests to discuss all manner of questions with pets, and these are some of the most common types:What questions should I ask an animal communicator about my pet?

  • Are you... happy, sad, bored, depressed, anxious, lonely, jealous, in any pain?
Our pet's feelings stay bottled up for years, until we give them space to express.

  • Do you need more... toys, food, walks, company, attention, freedom, love?
Adjusting to your pet's preferences is often a simple way to improve their mood.

  • What do you think of... our new home, baby, work hours, goldfish, partner?
Pets feel so grateful when we remember to ask their opinion of big changes.

  • Why do you... bark, whine, bite, destroy, soil, dig, scratch?
Bad behaviour is a common method pets use to alert us to important problems.

Don’t assume that your animal will talk about something unless specifically asked. What is important to you may not be the most important topic for your animal. Be sure to provide your animal communicator with clear, direct questions like these:

Why won’t you use the litterbox?
How can I improve your quality of life?
Why did you choose to live with me?
Would you like a playmate?
Do you need assistance to cross over?
Is there something I can do to make you happier?
What can I do to improve our bond?
How does your leg feel since your operation?
Do you know how much we love you?
Is there something missing from your diet?
Do you like your given name?

Our animal communication consults let you ask your pet a certain number of questions. It's ok if you don't have the maximum amount of questions, any extra time can be devoted to passing on messages of love, or letting your animal speak about whatever is important to them. Take some time to think about what you'd most like to share with your pet, and be prepared for some interesting responses!
